Literary:	Trashy romance novels.	I know. I don't seem like the type. I don't have enough romance in my life, so have to endulge every once in a while.

Musical:	Pop music.	I really like catchy stuff that makes you feel like you can sing it over and over again. But I don't like it when the radio stations play it over and over again. That makes me hate it.

and then....you find an email that you wrote about 3 years ago and think to yourself....wow...i still feel that same way now. and it makes you think about how much has changed since you wrote those words down. wow. to think about how much my life has changed since i typed that email. haha....and the advice i gave was so true.
haha, maybe i should have gotten a degree in life counseling or psychology or something.
strange thing is that i can't seem to find the response in my email anywhere.
oh well. just some thoughts.

20 years ago I
-had just turned two
-probably had favorite toys
-this is probably where the "bad times" between my brother and I started. I had probably really just begun to walk and REALLY REALLY get around and stuff and I probably chose this time to really start to destroy his things. haha.

15 years ago I
-had just turned seven.
-I guess that means i was in first grade...? yeah, sounds right. so...first grade. i mean, really, what do you learn in first grade? let's move on.

10 years ago I
-had just turned 12.
-oh to be 12 again. what a strange age....you're not a kid, but you're not a teen either. i was in the 6th grade, so i had mr. williams and mrs. bottoms. that was a weird year. i think part of it was the fact that i knew every day that my mom was down the hall. that'll scare a kid.

5 years ago I
-had just turned 17. nothing's really fun about being 17. it's the year caught between sweet 16 and getting your driver's license and turning 18 and "being legal".
-i was a junior in high school...

3 years ago I
-had just turned 19.
-oh this is good. i had just come back to jmu after my first thanksgiving back at home after being up here for an extended period of time. i remember really not wanting to come back. hmmm...maybe that year we had thanksgiving at my grandparents so i hadn't gone home, but shortly after that i went home for christmas and then came back up here after being at home for a month, and i vividly remember crying in my dorm room just absolutely hating the fact that i was back here.

1 year ago I
-haha, had just turned 21.
-uh....went out for my first legal drink.
-shortly after that, i started drinking a LOT less. not that i drank a lot to begin with, but i just don't drink a whole lot. never did, definetly don't now.
